Education changes lives

Join our mission to empower children in rural Africa, Côte d’Ivoire by strengthening their motivation to stay in school and providing essential sexual education.

The reality in rural Africa

Life in rural villages in Côte d’Ivoire is tough. There are few opportunities, and children often have little to do beyond helping their families. The quality of life is low, and healthcare is difficult to access.

Many children drop out of school, even before finishing primary education, to assist their parents at home and in the fields. For young girls, early pregnancies are a major issue, cutting short their chances for development.

Most families depend entirely on the land crops and good weather to survive. Economic development and trade are very limited. This keeps communities locked in a cycle of poverty.

Leaving the village in search of a better life in the city is rarely successful. Cities are tough environments, and most rural children lack the education, skills, and social support they need to thrive. Only few of those who leave rural communities manage to build a better life in the city.

But those few who do succeed often give back to their original communities — supporting their home villages with investments, financial help, and networks. They typically make a lasting difference in the places they came from.

The government provides access to primary education in villages, but the academic potential that exists often goes unnoticed and without support is ultimately wasted.

Our mission

We aim to break the cycle of poverty by empowering children in rural Côte d’Ivoire — strengthening their motivation to stay in school and providing essential sexual education.

Our mission is to create a simple, sustainable way to support children with potential, helping them continue their education during and beyond primary school. We believe that knowledge, self-awareness, and safety are key ingredients for long-term development.

We work with what’s already in place: local schools, women’s associations, and trusted community networks. By building on local strengths, learning from what works, and sharing success across villages, we strive to create lasting change.

Even if we support only a few children to rise out of poverty through education, the ripple effects can be profound — inspiring families, transforming communities, and opening doors for the next generation.

"Supporting this foundation has been one of the most meaningful decisions I’ve made. Knowing that my contribution helps a child stay in school and dream beyond the village is incredibly powerful. This is real, lasting change."
